Hi.

Welcome to What The Blush?!

Here I share my professional take on topics related to hair, make-up with a mix of motherhood. I invite you to join in the discussion and I hope you find my info helpful!

Dumpster Diving Makeup Haul

Dumpster Diving Makeup Haul

So, apparently I'm late to the party.  Not surprised, considering the more important things on my agenda.....kids.  I shamelessly enjoy watching YouTube videos of the make-up "gurus" and relish in their abilities to test soooooo many products....sponsorship???

Well, have you seen the "haul" videos?  Featuring such titles as "Huge Holiday Makeup Haul!" or "Drugstore Makeup Haul 2017!"

If not, here's a makeup haul example:

Some part of me is slightly jealous.  Like i kind of wish i could spend all my money on makeup hauls.  But the new thing (to me) is...DUMPSTER DIVE MAKEUP HAULS!

There's "anti-consumerism" gurus who dumpster dive at various mall locations to score discarded products from stores like Sephora, Ulta and the like.  I have truly seen it all.

Here's just one video I came across from an article on slate.com

As much as I love all things beauty, I probably wouldn't risk my health dumpster diving for makeup.  Would you?  What are your thoughts?
